As a nation, we have a moral obligation to care for our seniors. It is critical that we preserve and protect the social safety net that ensures our seniors are well cared for.

John believes that Medicare should not be privatized or scaled back. He will support legislation that would allow Medicare to negotiate with pharmaceutical companies to drive down drug costs. By bringing down the costs of prescription drugs and medical care, Medicare will be able to provide better quality care to patients at lower costs.

Social Security

Seniors depend on Social Security, a program they have paid into throughout their lives.
